🎮 Use the mouse to move the dialogue along and pick dialogue options.

⚙️ This little game was made over 7 days for the 3rd Minimalistic Jam, using 3 colors, and reducing the input dialogues to the bare minimum. It's mostly an exploration of that constraint.  The code was written using WebStory Engine.

⚠️ The dialogue may mention mild child and animal abuse.

what just happened lol

...well, that went dark fast. It's interesting how much of the conversation is the psychologist (psychiatrist?) reading far, far more into one-syllable responses than is actually there.

Also, I rather wish there were a "..." option. My first playthrough, there were times when that was what I wanted the kiddo to be saying. Still an interesting experience.

It is a unique turn from the theme of "minimalist" to human chains of action and reaction towards an expected but limited response. The art style itself has brought the ambiguity of each monologue o.O

really loved the style!!

Very nice game of this kind, especially for a jam game. It has a surprising amount of depth and so you can get a lot out of it. The art style is also minimalist and so fits the game, but manages to get the characters' emotions across still.

I'd like to invite this game to our game-making contest, which also has a category for jam entries!

I love the Game, I spent hours trying to find new outcomes!

Wow, Hours?  Glad the option to do the interview over could be useful! Thanks for the feedback!
